    Excellent Insurance
    Sometimes having that peace of mind alone is worth it knowing your item is covered although you might not use that insurance for the duration of the covered period. Sometimes you’ll get to find out how well you are covered when you call on that insurance to fulfill their agreement. I elected to go with a 4 year coverage plan and at 3 years and 1 month after purchasing the item I needed that coverage to take effect and it did and it was super easy. Audition is a well known company that is used by many companies to cover their products, so are in good hands when you go with them.

    Genuinely the worst customer service experience of my life
    Let’s start at the beginning:Around January 22, I submitted a claim for my Pool Pump and Sand Filter. After 10 days of no notice of action, I reviewed the claim online and found that they wanted me to package and mail (with my own materials) an item weighing in excess of 100lbs and one that was large enough to require freight pickup. I reached out on February 2nd and spoke to an individual who continued to repeat himself and was not making sense in any way. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was eventually transferred. The supervisor was incredibly nice and took the time to listen. She then admitted that the last person was incorrect, and that no, they didn’t want me to ship my item back. She asked for some part numbers and told me that they would be issuing a refund for original purchase price within a few business days. She also told me that she would personally follow up on my claim. I waited another 10 days and called back on the 12th, because again asurion.com stated I needed to ship the item back. The person I spoke to informed me that they needed me to give them the part numbers for every part that is broken. I told them I didn’t have the part numbers and that the photos show the pump was broken beyond repair. He insisted that I need to ship the item to the manufacture to determine what needs to be fixed, and then call asurion back and at that point they would make a decision. I requested again to speak to a supervisor, as this was not a reasonable ask. While on hold for over 45 minutes, I was able to contact the manufacture and get an exploded parts diagram. From that I identified all the part numbers that were broken (that I could tell without further disassembly). When he came back on the line he informed me that there was no supervisor for me to talk with. I gave him all the part numbers I had identified and he told me that he would forward this to their service department for evaluation. From there, I waited another 10 days and callrd back on the 22nd as my claim again stated that I needed to ship it back for service. The last person I spike to had also messed up my email address on the claim. On the 22nd I spoke to another supervisor who was very kind and apologized for all the issues. She told me that she would get this resolved for me after I provide all of the part numbers again via email. So I did and waited. On Friday, Feb 23rd, I received an email stating that they would be issuing a gift card for my original purchase price. Today I received an email saying that they have sent an email with my gift card. It strangely enough has a bunch of information on how to find missing gift cards in your inbox. I waited several hours and no emails have shown up. I called and there is an automated service to resend the gift card email. I still have not received any email with the gift card information. At this point, this entire process feels like a scam. At no point has this met my expectations, and I have zero faith that I will receive this gift card. To say I’m dissatisfied is an understatement, and to give them 1 star is so far beyond generous that I feel sick even giving this service a single star.Update: I reached out to them and they stated that because I haven’t waited at least 48 hours, I wasn’t eligible to lodge a complaint that the gift card hasn’t been sent. They also put it on me for my email not being able to receive their gift card. My faith that there will be a resolution on this is continuing to dwindle.

    Two tries to get action
    I purchased an upflush toilet and it failed after 3 years, I called and did an online request for payment due to failing product, it stopped working and got very hot shorting up the GFI outlet. I did the usual phone tree and after about 5 minutes got a person “Danny”. interview went well claim accepted and Danny said I’d get my gift card from Amazon within 24 hours. Well 24 hours passed no credit 48 hours passed no credit. I did the whole routine again, taking 1/2 hour of my time again. Finally got my credit after 2 tries and 1 hour of my time. Danny needs more training. That’s my experience. Would I get the insurance again. I did.
