This is great, but be prepared to fill it.
I like the color and the ease of assembly.I disliked moving the amount of dirt this holds. The dislike has no impact on the product. It works as advertised. Just know that once you get it together, you will be hauling massive amounts of dirt, rock, sand, or whatever. I would recommend big rocks or river rocks to fill the bottom. I had a lot of paver bricks to use. I then added a pickup truck full of dirt. I squated my Ram 1500. That filled it to about the half way point. I then dug up a high spot in my yard. This got it about 3/4ths of the way. I then purchased about 8-10 large bags of potting soil to top it off. The plants did great!

A robust and versatile planter box with a few small things to consider
The Best Choice Products Outdoor Metal Raised Garden Bed was an excellent addition to my garden. Its 2ft growing depth, which can hold up to 119 gallons of soil, is ideal for medium to deep-rooting plants and vegetables like broccoli, beans, and more. This depth is a significant positive as it allows for a wide variety of plants to be grown. The open base drainage is another positive aspect. It promotes drainage to help prevent water and salt buildup while allowing your plants’ roots easy access to nutrients. This feature is crucial for maintaining the health of your plants and ensuring they thrive. (But also opens up the possibility of varmints burrowing into your plants)The tool-free assembly is a big plus. The beveled steel panels come together with a set of included wingnuts and bolts with rubber edging for added protection. This makes the setup process straightforward and hassle-free, even for those who aren’t particularly handy. (It does take some time to assemble and is made easier by two people. It took me about a half hour to construct one)The planter box is built to last, made of powder-coated steel panels and complete with four ground stakes to secure your garden bed. This robust construction ensures that the planter box will withstand the elements and continue to serve your gardening needs for years to come. (It DOES NOT include or use support bars so if you overpack your planter bed like I did you will get some bowing. 1 out of my three has bowing because I overpacked it, see photos)Best Choice Products Outdoor Metal Raised Garden Bed are a great choice for both experienced horticulturists and beginning green thumbs. Its depth, open base drainage, and tool-free assembly are standout features. I would easily recommend these to someone who is looking for open-bottom raised garden beds.

Sturdy box that was not hard to put together
I ordered a bunch of these boxes in both the Beige and the Peacock Blue colors. The beige has a lot of yellow in it, which was not what I was expecting. The Peacock blue color is beautiful and really pops in my yard. My neighbor saw them and is now ordering some as well. They take about 45 minutes to put together but once they are done they look great. Since we are in the city, we don’t have a lot of space to work with or the ability to get filler on our own property. I found out that our City has a free wood chip and leaf pick up at one of the local parks and that a few cities away has compost available for pick up. We sourced some decaying wood from a friend that lives out in the mountains. We are going to be ready for spring!

Great planters
Easy to put together but know this… you need about 1.5 Yards of garden soil to get this completely full. This baby isn’t moving anywhere once you place it somewhere! The only downfall, the long sides can collapse inward if you don’t pack the dirt well.

Sturdy
Son put it together relatively quickly. Itâs very sturdy and visually appealing. Loaded the bottom with rocks, broken asphalt, and wood. Layered the top 2/3rds with sol. Drains well. Large footprint held multiple veggies starters. Will be ordering again in the spring.

really like this garden bed
have not filled the bed yet. can only comment on assembling and materials.. hubby and i have been saving up… as we age we want to continue to enjoy gardening. we felt going from in ground gardening to raised bed gardening would help alot.. this year we bought 6 different raised metal beds. this one is the VERY BEST one out of the 6… the only “bad” thing was that the instructions suck… onto the good — the metal is thick and sturdy, even before assembling.. there were no sharp edges at all. the paint job is really good… with the other beds the paint would scratch off just while putting them together… not a scratch on this one. all the bolt holes lined up. had issues with a couple of the other beds with bad hole cuts… after assembled it is “square and true”. and super duper sturdy.. it has a bit of weight to it.. which is a good thing… i really like the color. very very pleased with this one..

Works as advertised, but requires a lot of assembly
While we’re now enjoying these metal garden beds, putting them together was quite an endeavor. I really underestimated how tedious inserting and tightening 80 (eight zero) small screws and wingnuts would really be. We purchased five of these bad boys and the strain on the back (bending over) and finger (finessing the small hardware) seems to worse than it would have been several years ago.We also liked that they were available in different colors (we got black), not that the steel does not appear to be galvanized – the scratches on the paint are now rusting. Not a show stopping issue, but something to be aware of.All in all, a good value, but were i to do it again, I’d probably purchase one of the more expensive models requiring less hardware assembly.

2nd time purchasing
These are sturdy and work well for raised beds. It takes about an hour to put together with one person. If you have a cordless drill/screwdriver it goes much quicker.
