This retainer and jewelry cleaner has been a Godsend!
I absolutely love this product! It gets my retainer super clean and the fact that it can clean jewelry as well is a huge plus I was not even really looking for as I use it for my retainer only! It does not take up a lot of space in my bathroom and it cleans my retainer in a short amount of time. It works well, is durable and very easy to use. This was a great buy and Iâd recommend this item for anyone!

I’ve been wearing a mouthguard for decades and have always been frustrated with how difficult it is to clean using denture cleansers and/or a tooth brush. This ultrasonic cleaner does the job with next to no work on my part. I also like that I can use the basket to clean my jewelry. The size is small enough to leave out on my bathroom counter too.

Started with a Zima dental pod because it blended in a bit better with home decor. Six months later that one was dead. Switched to another model on Amazon that had similar touch-sensitive buttons. Same thing–dead. Many of the other models are inherently flawed because you have to risk ruining the buttons and electronics every time you dump out the liquid.The buttons and majority of sensitive electronics in this one are in the top lid and stay safe from the liquid when you’re using it and emptying it. It’s been running great, the cleaning is on par with any other ultrasonic cleaner for retainers, and now I don’t have to worry about a liquid-based premature death because of bad design.

First, they claim that this cleaner uses 35 W to clean. Well, mine consumes 23 W and that includes the IR LEDs. So, no, itâs impossible to âtransmitâ 35 W from 23 W of input. They be playing specmanship games but they donât really say.The vibration does feel stronger than my older â20 Wâ cleaner when I stick my finger in the water.The 10 minute timer is good, thatâs the feature that I was looking for.There is no way to turn off the IR LEDs. IR degrades plastic, so if youâre using this to clean retainers, you need to block the LEDâs or flip the lid up. If they say that it wonât degrade plastic and yet will still disinfect, nope, not buying that.Itâs got a beeper that you canât turn off, so if someone is sleeping in the adjacent bedroom, you might wake them up. Do you really need a beeper?The other useless feature is the fan. Youâre supposed to empty and dry, then put something back in and turn on the fan.

Despite being ordered through Amazon.com.au, the unit arrived without an Australian power plug. Disappointing. After buying an adaptor, the unit did not power up at all. As it arrived with damaged packaging (unpadded), one can only assume it was damaged in transit. Unfortunately, it is now being returned for a refund.
