I love these SONGMICS cabinet organizer shelves! Theyâre super handy for keeping my kitchen counters and cabinets organized, and they look really nice with the white and natural wood combo. The fact that theyâre stackable and expandable is a huge plusâI can fit them just about anywhere, whether Iâm organizing spices or stacking dishes.The metal and wood design is sturdy but doesnât feel bulky, and it was super easy to set up. Assembly Tips and Vertical Space Recovered
***** ASSEMBLY TIPSSome reviewers stated they had issues with the pre-drilled pilot holes, wobbly legs and the screws themselves. I had none of these issues with my order.Others mentioned there is not much clearance to place a screw driver between the top of the shelf and the bottom of the leg. This is true. There is no cheapie short screwdriver included such as may be the case with other products. You will have about 4-5/8 to 4-3/4 inches to work with. It is easier to use a stubby or offset screwdriver. A number 2 phillips screwdriver tip works best. See photos #3 and #5. Photo #3 is the shorter leg. Photo #5 is an optional offset screwdriver.To make the screws easier to install, before attaching the legs screw in the screws about three quarters of the way into the shelf and then remove the screws. When attaching the legs only screw in enough to make the legs secure.The pilot holes on my shelves did not line up exactly center to center, but the entire holes were visible. The legs attached without issue.***** OTHER DIMENSIONSIf you have a tight fit for some objects here are some dimensions not shown in the Amazon product page:The inside dimension between the legs on both shelves is about 10.0 inches (+/- 1/16 inch). The shelf dimensions are clearly given on the Amazon product page so there should be no surprises such as they are too small, too short, etc.***** MINOR ANNOYANCESEach shelf has paper labels attached to bottom of the shelf. Some paper and glue residue may be left on the shelf when the label is removed. See photo #9. There are labels that can be easily removed from wood, but this type was not used.I wont let packaging affect my overall review. It’s worth mentioning. My order survived shipping thru delivery. Some reviewers complained about the shelf arrived broken. The shelves are packed in a box with no inside protection such as styrofoam. See photo #1. My box arrived in a gray shipping plastic bag.

Very useful
This was a very useful item for utilizing space in my cabinet and separating my dishes. I love that it matched my cabinet color. I rated 4 stars only because the screws were hard to put in if you don’t have a drill. The screwdriver they included was not the best, but even with my own screwdriver, it was hard to put in because the space was small and the holes are not predrilled. It was only small holes that indicate where you put the screws, but you have to drive it in yourself. They were easy to assemble otherwise, only 4 screws for each piece. Great quality and sturdy. Just take assembly into account if you don’t own a drill.

Okay, this thing is an A+
Great buy for the price. I paid $16.99 for these. Easy to put together, no defects, very sturdy. One did seem a little wobbly and uneven/unbalanced at first, but I took off one of the legs and flipped it around and re-attached it and it was perfect. For the second one, I checked it first by standing up the legs on the counter and just laying the top on it first to make sure it was balanced before I attached it.These look much more high end than I expected (for 16.99). I actually said wow, when I opened the box. I’m pretty impressed. I saw a few people here mentioned their set didn’t match each other. Both of mine are the exact same color. They are both a pretty golden color with the same exact pattern. It also doesn’t immediately look like laminate/veneer. I actually inspected it and I heard myself say, is this real wood? I don’t see any seams or signs of laminate or veneer. This set simply looks fantastic for this price.I just got it today 10/14/24. I’ll come back and let you know how it holds up. I’m going to be using this on my countertop to give myself room for everyday kitchen tasks (because I have very limited counter space) and it’s right next to the stove where I cook, so it won’t be hiding in a cabinet with clean dishes on it. I’m curious to see how it holds up if I get grease anywhere near it or I have to set a dirty dish or two on it. BUT, I have to say if it gets marked up, I’m probably just going to buy another set. They look great and they are sturdy and for 16.99 you really can’t beat it. I think I’ll go check out what else brand is selling too.

Cheap build quality, should be 20 bucks, not 50.
The build quality is cheap, if they were 20 bucks it’d be fine, but at 50 I feel ripped off. I would return them but I don’t feel like it. My main issue is the fake wood looks really cheap and is more of a dark gray than a black, so I had to wrap them in black vinyl to make them match my black desk. Also the metal legs are bent on the bottom to allow for only 2 points of contact to create feet, by design, just the way they’re bent looks like an accident and not professionally done. Just a nitpick really, the shelves aren’t wobbly thankfully. They work, but they look cheap and ugly not like the pictures and are overpriced in my opinion.
